"slowdive"

Flooded landscapes are like snapshots of the end of a time, preserved in a state of decay yet beautiful, full of light and dark.

To me, these scenes are both – post-apocalyptic and like warnings from the future. But they are also hidden places where i see peace and find contemplation.

The series is from 2024 and ongoing, uses a combination of black pan pastel and charcoal on DIN A4 framed at 30x40.
